Seven nights at a boutique Hotel in Madrid. Enjoy an urban retreat in Madrid’s city center. Rooftop terrace, pool, and the kind of quiet luxury that lets you actually rest between adventures.
You practice Spanish every single day with me and the group.
This isn’t a trip where Spanish happens here and there. Each day you have a guided tasks to complete, a speaking challenge, you’ll hold real conversation with locals, and get real feedback from me. We’ll take a cooking class, go shopping and exploring through different neighborhoods and enjoy a full day excursion to 3 cities. My goal: You leaving speaking with confidence.

We’re spening the day learning about Spain’s past by visiting 3 cities. Toledo is a walled city of three cultures, Segovia is home to a 2,000-year-old Roman aqueduct, and Avila is known for its 11th century walls. Bilingual Guide, full day of exploration, and great food.
Rooftops, flamenco, and nights you'll talk about for years.
We’ll have dinner at some of Madrid’s most celebrated hotel rooftops. Lunch on the terraces like a madrileña. We’ll enjoy a flamenco show, a tapas crawl plus a farewell dinner under the Madrid skyline. I left a lot to the imagination. Just know 8 days in Spain is going to be the education you need plus the relaxation and fun you’ve been craving. This is going to be an immersion to remember.

Founder and CEO of Spanish for Black Girls™, Kaywanda is a bilingual educator with 21 years of experience teaching Spanish — in classrooms, at the corporate level, and now, in the streets of Madrid. She’s been featured on Good Morning America, ABC, and NBC, and has personally led international immersion trips to Costa Rica and Mexico.
This isn’t a trip with a hired tour guide and an instructor bolted on. Kay is both, for all eight days — which means every excursion, every meal, and every conversation is an opportunity to keep building your Spanish, with the person who’s spent her career doing exactly that.

Before you say sí.
Do I need to already speak Spanish?
No. This group is intentionally mixed-level. You’ll be paired with a buddy so no one is left behind or held back.
I'm traveling solo — will I be the only one?
This trip is built for professional Black women traveling on their own, and many will be. You’ll be paired with a buddy before we leave and you will meet the ladies in the group. By Day 8 you’ll have a group text full of new friends.
What's the group size?
Madrid is huge, and we’ll be exploring the city and using Spanish each day. The size is 10 women, max. Small enough for genuine relationships and real conversation practice with locals, and large enough for a great group energy.
